the low-key epidemic in the online business space

There’s an epidemic in the online business space… and most don’t even know they’ve caught it.

I did, back in 2022.. and I carried it everywhere

It starts quiet and innocently;

a desire for more (and hey.. nothing wrong with that)

More clients. More money. More momentum.

then one day, “more” becomes your identity.

but now you’re not just building a business.. you’re upholding a persona that sounds like:

“I’m the guy who does this”

that’s when reality gets distorted.

because upholding the persona becomes the WHY behind every action and behaviour

so you stop asking if it’s working for you

and you just keep doing what worked to stay in the familiar.

why?

we're wired for safety and avoiding pain

and stopping feels dangerous (not safe) and questioning the system feels like failure (pain)

plus when everyone is cheering you on to "keep doing what works" and "to do more volume"

thats the hardest part.

but isn't all that just an echo chamber of one narrative?

here's the truth I found:

When your actions are powered by the need for external validation..

the fuel source you're working from isn't sustainable.

You lose yourself.. you lose your spark… and you fall out of alignment.

Alignment, in this context, isn’t a strategy.

Alignment is what your soul deeply craves beyond what the mind tells you is "right"

It’s a feeling.

A quiet voice.

A frequency.

​

But when your entire identity is built on output (instead of inner connection)

your mind takes over as CEO

everything is rational.

And your emotions, your deeper why, your intuition?

yeah… they just take the back seat.

usually just written off as "inefficient"

but eventually, that voice inside… the one that used to whisper your deeper truth directly to you..

It starts to go quiet.

that’s when the frustration loops begin.

Tweaking your offer for the 17th time.

Rebuilding funnels.. again.

Refreshing stripe dashboards

Another business mastermind

All of it becomes a coping mechanism.. disguised as "progress"

but.. why?

good question.

it’s easier to do more than it is to feel more.

Trust me… I lived it.

Working 15-hour days felt safer than 15 minutes of silence.

and man… the silence was loud.

But that silence was the portal for true transformation..

The access point to the truth underneath the tweaking.

so maybe the real bottleneck isn’t tactical… It’s emotional.

and if we go even deeper.. it's rewiring at the identity level.

It the difference between tactical addiction vs. emotional attunement

Tactical addiction = overthinking, pressure, and second guessing your every move

Emotional attunement = trust, peace, and clear decision making

Combine both and you have Embodied Leadership.

so what if you don’t need more "optimization"…. you just need to attune to whats underneath?

That’s where the next chapter lived for me (and maybe you too)

So the bug is not just a parasite to the mind, it's a parasite to your momentum.

and getting rid of it won't come from running away from it

It'll come from diving head first into whats asking to be seen within you.

Proactively making the decision to tune in.. instead of tuning out.

It’s about remembering who you were before the grind took over

then building from that place.

because likely what you’re craving isn’t just more achievement for the sake of more

It’s full presence, internal and external alignment, and inner peace to accompany the success you've created.

that doesn’t live in your funnel… It lives in you.
